We have had several questions related to how to backup your iPad so I have put together a set of instructions.

Backing Up Explain Everything:

Step 1.) Open the “Explain Everything” app

Step 2.) Click the “share” icon in the top left corner then click on the document you want to backup

Step 3.) Click “More” in the menu that pops up

Step 4.) Click “OK” if prompted

Step 5.) Click on the “Google Drive” tab at the bottom

Step 6.) Sign in to your google drive account

Step 7.) Click “Accept” in the bottom right corner

Step 8.) Click the button that reads “Export”

Step 9.) Click “OK” and you are done!

Backing Up Garage Band:

Step 1.) Open the “Garage Band” app

Step 2.) Click “Select” in the upper right hand corner

Step 3.) Click on the document you want to backup

Step 4.) Click the “Share” icon in the top left corner

Step 5.) Click the “App Store” icon

Step 6.) Choose “High Quality” and click “Share” in the upper right

Step 7.) Wait for the song to export

Step 8.) Choose “Google Drive” from the list

Step 9.) Click “Upload”

Step 10.) Wait for your song to upload and you are done!

Backing Up iMovie:

Step 1.) Open the “iMovie” app

Step 2.) Click on the “Share” icon

Step 5.)Wait for your movie to export

Step 6.) Click “OK” when prompted

Step 7.) Open the “Google Drive” app

Step 9.) Choose “Upload Photos & Videos”

Step 10.) Choose “Camera Roll”

Step 11.) Choose the movie you just exported

Step 13.) Wait for it to upload and your done!

Backing Up Keynote:

Step 1.) Open the “Keynote” app

Step 2.) Click the “Share” icon in the top right corner

Step 5.) Wait for it to export your presentation

Step 7.) Click the Google Drive Icon

Step 9.) Wait for the document to upload and you are done!

Backing Up Notability:

Step 1.) Open the “Notability” app

Step 3.) Choose “Google Drive” from the list

Step 4.) Be sure that “paper” and “Recordings” are turned on and then click “Send to Google Drive”

Step 5.) Enter your login credentials

Step 6.) Click “Sign In”

Step 7.) Click “Accept”

Step 8.) Wait for it to finish “Working” and you are done!

 


Backing Up Numbers:

Step 1.) Open the “Numbers” app

Backing Up Pages:

Step 1.) Open the “Pages” app

Backing Up Photos & Videos:

Step 1.) Open the “Google Drive” app

Step 4.) Navigate to your “Camera Roll”

Step 5.)  Select the photos or videos that you want to backup
