Hello All!

As of recently there has been a large influx of issues related to Pages, Numbers and Keynote’s (iWork) compatibility from older versions to newer versions. There is a workaround that can be used until we can do the latest updates. For the time being I would just make this a standard practice. At least until the update to Yosemite can happen.

How can I tell if I have the new pages or the old pages just by looking?

-The oldest versions of Pages, Numbers and Keynote look like this in the dock:
oldest_iWork

-Then there are now at least a couple variations of the newest versions of iWork:
10.8 – 10.9 Mountain Lion and Mavericks:
MiddleAgeiWork

10.10 Yosemite:
NewestiWork

To work around it as the sender of the file please follow these steps:

1. Open up your work in Pages, Numbers or Keynote.
2. Go to File > Export To
3. Here you will see and option for Pages, Numbers or Keynote 09
4. Click that and click next.
5. Save it as whatever you like
