Zooming In On Your Screen
If you ever have shown people how to do something from your MacBook and knew it was hard for people to see what was going on, this tip is for you.
On the old MacBooks, it was easy to zoom in on a particular part of your screen – hold down the Control Button and run two fingers along the touchpad. The new ones did away with that by default – burying it in settings.
To turn on zooming:
- Select the Apple in the upper left, then System Preferences > Accessibility > Zoom.
- Check the box “Enable Zoom using Scroll Gestures”.
Then you’re all set, and can zoom in by holding down the Control button and moving two fingers toward or away from you on the trackpad.
